      <image:title>Education - From the Soul</image:title>
<image:caption>My mission is to bring light to the world through a relentless pursuit of equity at the intersections of psychology, public health, and social policy. This, I believe, is one of the many Godly purposes of my life- to display his love through my dedication to justice and vision for a humanity-affirmed world. To make it more manageable, I break down my efforts into the following world-changing initiatives: Empowering Communities. Fostering Integrative Resilience. Challenging Systems. Educating the Masses. Shifting Narratives. Improving Life Trajectories. Reforming Policies. Invoking Systems Change.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - Authentically Bri</image:title>
<image:caption>I want to change the world. As a kid, I was often scolded by teachers for too much daydreaming. I couldn’t help myself! I envisioned inspiring thousands with my zest for life, leading others through the uncertainties of existence, and pioneering thoughts and ideas through innovation and savvy. I thought, if I could somehow let adults know it’s okay to let life be fun, I will have accomplished my life’s mission. As a young adult, those dreams never left, in fact, they only grew in intensity and magnitude. My dreams have evolved as I’ve aged but the focus remains the same. I still want to inspire, have my own television show, and lead others in discovering their purpose and worth. However, I realized that in order to heal, I must first investigate and understand. This epiphany led me to the worlds of research, clinical practice, health communication, and community empowerment where I am currently nested.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Community Initiatives - McDougald Terrace Supply Drive</image:title>
<image:caption>The residents of McDougald Terrace, a DHA apartment complex have been subjected to inhumane living conditions including elevated levels of Carbon Monoxide. There have been three infant deaths suspected to have been related to the living conditions in the complex. Families are now being evacuated to nearby hotels but are experiencing high levels of stress due to food, housing, and transportation insecurity due to displacement. It is unclear when these families will be able to return to their homes. When I shared the heartbreaking story of McDougald Terrace with my colleagues, I never expected this outpour of support. Today, RTI International employees filled an entire U-Haul van with donations for the residents of McDougald Terrace. What started off as a simple request for donations for the affected residents became an entire company wide effort to aid our community. Could not be prouder to work for an organization that comes together for the good of others. "Improving the Human Condition" is not only an RTI company mission, but the personal initiative of many of its employees. Keep pushing, McDougald. We see you, we hear you, and we are here for you.</image:caption>

<image:caption>I am an intern at the Research to Policy Collaboration where I focus on connecting lawmakers and researchers to create evidence-based policy concerning health and racial equity. This includes qualitative coding for legislative briefs, policy analysis regarding COVID and racial health disparities, and using prevention science to advocate for geographical and racial/ethnic health equity. I also manage the organization's science communication efforts through social media.</image:caption>

Here, I was particularly interested in the openness of policy interpretation as well as the bioethical dilemmas concerning DNA disposal post-collection. We also ran social media analyses related to the media discourse surrounding the Trump Administration and immigrant rights.</image:caption>
